Enrolment Policy

1.    All applications for enrolments will be processed and approved through the RTO Administration.

2.    Seed Skills will determine whether participants will undertake assessment and training with the client group or representative.

3.    All participants in accredited course shall enroll in units being offered under current qualification arrangements.

4.    Where possible, it is envisaged that competencies undertaken will be relevant across all job roles.  However, where it is identified that these competencies are not applicable to the job role consideration may be given to an alternative. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis by the RTO Quality Manager.

5.    When a participant enrolls in an accredited course, a Traineeship process shall be discussed as a sign-up option. The Traineeship process will be conducted through Seed Skills and an Australian Apprenticeship Centre (AAC) and offered to the participant on a voluntary basis.  This sign-up process will be conducted during the initial stages of the course.

6.    The program will run for a maximum period of 24 months. Participants will be enrolled in all units in the course at the time of initial enrollment in the program.

7.    Invitations to enroll will be distributed via e-mail or via the webpage, at least two calendar months prior to the commencement of the program.

8.    All enrolment applications are to be submitted to the Training Manager by the nominated closing date, which will be at least one month prior to the commencement of the program.

9.    Enrolments are to be submitted on the accredited course enrolment form supplied by Seed Skills.

10.    If a participant has not submitted any assessment material, or draft assessment material, for a unit within the negotiated time frames (see Assessment Policy), the participant’s enrolment will be terminated and the appropriate result will be recorded on the Student Record System.

11.    A participant may change enrolment details up to one calendar month after closure of enrolments by way of email.
