There are two pools of Government funds available:

1) Existing Employees Incentive

For staff employed longer than 3 months full-time or 12 months part-time, employers are eligible for Standard Commencement Incentive ($1,500 ) 3 months from commencement.  The Completion Incentive ($2,500),  is paid at the completion of the training, with a total funding of $4,000.

2) New Employees Incentive

For staff employed less than 3 months full-time and 12 months part-time, employers are eligible for Standard Commencement Incentive ($1,500 ) 3 months from commencement, plus a Completion Incentive ($2,500), totaling $4,000.  Employees must work an average of 15 hours per week and must not have a prior tertiary qualification in the same subject area completed in the last 7 years.
